ORGANIC SPIRIT PROJECT

Organic Spirit Project does not consist only of an organic farm. The creation of an organic farm is the starting point for conceiving an Autonomous School of Philosophy with it own identity. The Autonomous School of Philosophy Organic Spirit will continously interact with the community of Playa Grande, Guanacaste, Costa Rica; tourists; primary educations, secundary education, and university educations centers, both national an international, and with researchers who want to contribute a grain of sand to the Project. Therefore, the formulation of the Organic Spirit Project includes various philosophical considerations, the promotion of cultural and recreational spaces, practical work, philosophical debate, and the preparation of different farmer and handicraft products made from the recovery of ancestral techniques, friendly to the Good Living and the Environment.

Autonomous School of Organic Spirit Philosophy will promote food autonomy, the quality of life of the individual, their free spiritual development, knowledge of Western, Eastern, alternative, Latin American and Costa Rican philosophical thinking, intercultural education, ecological tourism, knowledge of local culture and a culture of peace space.

Organic Spirit Project will have an eclectic and dynamic tehoretical framework. This framework will discuss topics of Existentialism, Alternative Spirituality, Tolerance, Practical Philosophy, Western Philosophy, Eastern Philosophy, Latin American Philosophy, Costa Rican Philosophy, Centroamerican Literature, Education, Ecological Tourism, Ethics, Political Theory, Political Science, Geopolitics, Ecology, Culture of Peace, and Cultural Studies. The creation of different spaces for cultural promotion and recreation, as well as practical work and discussion spaces will be adjusted to the achievement of short, medium and long term goals, whose final objetive will be the stability of the Autonomous School of Philosophy Organic Spirit, wich must arrise from both practical part and initial teoretical approach.

The First Phase of the Oragnic Espirit Project begins with the lease of a plot for land in Playa Grande, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The construction of a small greenhouse and basic infrastructure. The territorialization of all spaces suitable for the organic productios of chard, arugula, lettuce, coriander, radish, basil, cucumber, good herb, mint, tomato, oregano, juanilama, and other editable and medicinal plants. A space for seed germination and productions of lentils, chia, linseed, millet, and alfalfa sprouts. A small forest nursery with species from the area. A farm of editble insects, and a space for the realization of fermentd products such as vinegar, kruchits, kvass,etc. The consolidation fo this First Phase is fundamental to guarantee a basic economic support to cover with the fixed expenses and to enhance the necessary meeting spaces so that the Autonomous School of Philosophy Organic Spirit begins to acquire solidity.

At the same time, a Web page will be designed in which weekly publications will be uploade on progress made in the work done on the leased land. A quaterly digital magazine will also be structured in which at least three academics articles produced will be published with a view to the theoretical formulation of the identity of the Autonomous School of Philosophy Organic Spirit. From this publicity and the design of the Organic Spirit Project, we will seek to establish solidarity relations with different people and local and international entifies that wish to colaborate through donations of various kinds. As compensation for these donations, a detailed work report will be published monthly in which all persons contribuiting to the formation of the Autonomous School of Organic Spirit Philosophy will be recognized.

The Second Phase will begin when sufficient economic stability has been achieved to move forward with the Project Organic Spirit. In the Second Phase, a recycling and reusing campaign for discarded plastic will be carried out in the Playa Grande ares. This campaign will consist of the collection of bottles and practical wraps with which eco brikcs will be made. These eco bricks in turn will be used in the manufacture of agricultural beds on the leased land for the Project Organic Spirit. This plastic collection campaign will serve as a means for the project to interact with other nearby locations, as sponsored workshops will be offered to publics schools in Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, on topics such as: recycling, organic farming, philosophy for children and culture of peace.

The design of each of these workshops and the graphic and written record of the execution of each specific workshop, as well as their respective evaluation, will be published on the Website so that the people and entities that support the Project Organic Spirit through donations can view the way in which their contributions are being used and can interact with the General Coordination of the Organic Spirit Project.

In the Third Phase of the project, programs for short and sponsored courses for young and adult populations will be designed on specific aspects of organic agriculture (land preparation, preparation of organic fertilizers and pesticides, creation of edible insect farms and on different types of fermentation), Western Philosophy (Philosophy of Ancient Greece, Philosophical Foundations of Medieval Christianity, Philosophical Foundations of Protestant Christianity, Renaissance Philosophy, Modern Philosophy, Epistemology, Science Philosophy, Ethics, Business Ethics, Environmental Ethics, Political Philosophy Modern, Political Philosophy of the 20th century, Contemporary Political Philosophy, Existentialism and Philosophy of Art), Eastern Philosophy (Introduction to Hinduism, Introduction to Buddhism, Zen Buddhism), Latin American Philosophy, Costa Rican Philosophy, Organic Philosophy and Intercultural Education.

In the Fourth Phase of the project, the Autonomous School of Organic Spirit Philosophy will promote cultural meeting spaces such as reading clubs, literary creation workshops, philosophical debate spaces, meetings of poets and organic fairs. Meetings of national and international poets, researchers from different branches of philosophy, poetry recitals and cultural clubs will also be promoted. Structured tours designed to meet different natural beauties of Costa Rica (beaches, volcanoes, forests, etc.), sites of cultural significance (Museums, Guayabo Cultural Monument), spaces characteristic of local cultures (civic and patronal festivities, will also be promoted). daily meeting spaces, etc.) and national universities (urban and rural facilities).

All this material will be the raw material to make a curriculum solid enough and with adequate pedagogical and methodological aspects to certify a formal recognition by the government of Costa Rica and / or other international entities to open a first promotion of Basic Training in Philosophy of the Autonomous School of Philosophy Organic Spirit. This program will be available to students of all nationalities and will include face-to-face or virtual classes, depending on the modality chosen by the student. A system of sponsored scholarships will also be promoted so that local people, interested in pursuing the program and do not have sufficient financial resources to do so, can study it and be part of the Organic Spirit.

The human being can rescue ancestral production techniques from different parts of the World and promote education as a tool to achieve better modes of human coexistence.

MISSION

Develop a Autonomous School of Philosophy that is responsible for promoting a Culture of Peace, spaces for the development of Philosophical Thought and Spiritual Recognition, General Culture, Environmental and Business Ethics, and the rescue of agricultural and artisanal production techniques. All this to exemplify that alternative life forms can be obteined to help the planet recover from the wear and tear generated by uncontrolled human activity and the disastrous monster of War.
